Meet our 4 Brisbane Businesswomen Partners

Published over 2 years ago • 1 min read

Hi Reader,

It's my honour to invite you to get to know these excellent, local business-ladies who are partnering with us for our Studio on Brunswick's Girls Night Out.

Lyne Tilt from Studio on Brunswick, a hub for art and business and art workshops from a wide-ranging network of artists and business experts. Lyne is an incredible force for good - bringing creativity, inspiration and wellbeing together at the top of Brunswick St in her gorgeous studio. Sign up for her e-newsletter and find more info at her website. Upcoming workshops include polymer clay designs, collages and Christmas wreath making!

Megan Kozak and her husband, Nahum, from Lighthouse Relationships have a wonderful counselling and psychology practice for individuals and couples which is down the other end of Brunswick St, on Oxlade Drive. Megan and Nahum are very genuine, respectful and knowledgable in positive psychology. Book an appointment to be listened to with kindness and empowered by their evidence-based strategies. Check out their website for more info.

Libby Woodward from WillPro offers a brilliant online service to write your will with real lawyers. You don't have to make an inperson appointment. She's got it all worked out and is passionate about empowering people to 'let your will be done' as her slogan says. Libby's social media posts are so clever and entertaining - she has a witty way of helping us take responsibility for this necessary job in life (and death). Find out more at her website and follow her on the socials!

Camille Chesterton from Rosie Lou makes eco-friendly greeting cards, gift tags, wrap, decorations and gifts because she is passionate about connecting us with nature and each other in beautiful and healthy ways. Her work is fascinating! I have never found better wrapping paper - her gorgeous designs are complimented by the thick, matte, quality paper. It feels really good to give excellent and beautiful Rosie Lou gifts, paper and cards to others and make them feel special, too. A Rosie Lou gift is also a gift to the environment.

We are so grateful for the support of these wonderful women! Please support their businesses.

Kind regards

Donna Power and the team at Project Kindy

Dear Reader, It is a privilege to share this story of 4-year-old, Shamzy from Sr Gio with you. His is a story of kindness, dignity, safety, hope and friendship in a context of desperation, poverty, insecurity and abandonment. Each day he has been left alone in their village, roaming around and relying on the kindness of his neighbours, while his single mum is forced to go out, struggling to find ways to feed her 4 children.
