Published over 2 years ago • 1 min read

Hi Reader,

Our first year with tax-deductible status has been quite a ride and I can't wait to share it with our inner circle at our AGM. You're warmly invited to our Annual General Meeting via Zoom on Sunday September 19 at 2pm. If you're not already an official member, please consider becoming one and supporting our work in this way. It's easy, just read this and then reply to this email to join the register. The Zoom link will be emailed to Official Members only, closer to the time.

Ladies, please secure your tickets for our Girls Night Out event to avoid disappointment! Saturday night, October 23 at The Loft in West End. Tickets include a $40 donation, 2 course sit-down dinner, bespoke cupcakes, DJ and a dancefloor, 2 premium drinks in a beautiful venue. Our Dancefloor is brought to you by Rosie Lou Stationery and Gifts - which is so fitting because Camille is also a PE teacher and dance/tricks coach!

Check out our Girls Night Out!

Kind regards

Donna Power and the team at Project Kindy

Dear Reader, My goodness. This is special. Thank you to Bonpinda Uniforms for generously providing the funds for these special Project Kindy t-shirts for our 1000 children and 60 grown-ups. It's the first time the kids have seen our name. They're my daughter's handprints on their hearts. Aw, stop it! You're going to make me cry! His is a story of kindness, dignity, safety, hope and friendship in a context of desperation, poverty, insecurity and abandonment. Each day he has been left alone in their village, roaming around and relying on the kindness of his neighbours, while his single mum is forced to go out, struggling to find ways to feed her 4 children. Just let that sink in. Can we really even imagine what that level of...
